As an Extension Services Consultant for the National Center for Women in Information Technology (NCWIT), I consult with computer science and information technology departments to develop recruiting and retention strategies for women and other underrepresented groups in those fields. I also work as an external advisor in a “critical friend” role, providing annual evaluation reviews for research projects and NSF CAREER awards.
